Hot off a great showing of Seven Seconds at the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival, we've generated real interest in the pilot episode of Time Hole. Seven Seconds is rough sketch -- a proof of concept -- taken from one sequence of Time Hole. Filmed on a shoe string, with one earnest guy using his tiny micro-four-thirds camera, a tripod, a few LED lights, and some funny props, Seven Seconds conveys the playful insanity of the story. Just think of what might happen with a real cinematography, a real editor, and a real sound person?!
Here's the Time Hole logline: Trapped in a time bubble in the Bronx, a physics professor with an axe to grind will stop at nothing to escape.
And the quick take: The fate of the universe is at stake, and it’s hard to imagine it in worse hands. Belinda Drake, Columbia University's first female physics professor finds herself (along with her 19th Century brownstone) trapped in a temporal bubble created by her groundbreaking and risky experiments. One hundred years later, desperate and increasingly unhinged, Professor Drake must rely on three eager, but completely unqualified assistants to help her break free of her prison.
